Salsa...

So I made my very first batch of Salsa all by myself, I have always helped my mom or had my sister help me, but this year i attempted it all by myself. And suprisingly it all turned out great, all 20 bottles sealed!! Yea! Every time i had a question, i called my sister, one time she answered the phone, "Salsa Hotline, How can i help you". So i guess i did have a little help!

Nap time..

Brigham is still taking pretty good naps every day even in his big boy bed, except he doesn't know how to open the door so he always knocks and lets me know when he is awake, i went in to get him the other day and this is what i found. i love this kid. Travis thinks he is going to be the comedian of our family. I can't believe he will be 2 on sunday. Time is cruisin by! and yes he still has a binky, that is the first thing to go after he turns two (which makes me really sad) but at least he has his blankie to turn to, he loves that thing, he kind of reminds me of Linus on Charlie brown.

millions of peaches, peaches for free...

I wish they were for free, I bought a box of peaches from Manning orchards up in Fruit Heights. They were delicious. Parley and Brigham ate a few a day. I made 3 batches of Peach jam and 1 batch of Strawberry Peach jam, and i still had peaches left over so i made peach cocktail that you freeze and enjoy later. Everything worked out except 1 batch of peach jam didn't ever set up, so we are going to enjoy some peach syrup. I am going to attempt salsa tomorrow, wish me luck!

Best Buds..

I had to post about Parley's Best friend because I don't ever want to forget this crazy summer of Parley and Stockton. These two do everything together, i mean everything. They even go pottie together, sometimes it is on the corner of the street or in the toilet. They go back and forth between our houses over and over! they have a ton of energy and have so much fun together. They have totally worn me out! I am looking out the window right now of them running through the sprinklers and pretty soon they are going to want to do something else. So i better hurry with my blogging.
