Our last day in the Philippines we spent in Manila because we flew out that night. It was a really fun day but so hard to say good bye to my parents again but at least this time it is only for 8 months! We enjoyed a yummy breakfast at the hotel where we met a member of the quorom of the seventy. Then we went to the Manila temple and walked around , it was a monday so it was closed but it was a very pretty temple. Then we headed to Green Hills mall and finished up our shopping, this mall was awesome, Travis came away with a few rolex's and I picked up a couple of purses, jeans, crocs, pearls etc... it was so fun. We almost had to buy another suitcase to get it all home but we actually made it but did have to pay a couple of overweight fees on our luggage :) We enjoyed our last lunch together at Chili's and can I just say there chips and salsa never tasted so good. We stopped at S&R (their costco) with mom and dad and then headed to the airport, said our Goodbyes, shed a few tears and we were off! It was definitely a trip of a lifetime and something i don't think we will ever do again. But I am so grateful we were able to go, it was a very humbling experience for me. and I am overcome with Gratitude as I sent in my warm home with comfortable beds, carpeted floors, a nice computer, more food than we need, a washer and dryer, a warm shower and so much more that I take for granted everyday. We are so blessed! I am also so grateful for this time of year to reflect on our Gratitude and all that we have to be thankful for. Thank you mom and dad for your service to the Lord, i feel so blessed to be on the receiving end of their service and I have such a testimony of missionary work. Thank you for the adventures and most of all thank you for just letting us be there and witness a little bit of what you do everyday. I will forever be amazed at you for the sacrifice you are making and have made the last 2 1/2 years. We love you so much and like we said before, now that we have been there we will be praying a little harder for you!! Love you and miss you like crazy!
The Beautiful Manila Temple...
The most awesome mission presidents ever...
Green Hills mall, perfect way to end our trip..
On our way to the airport we saw this tiny little boy who couldn't be older than parley washing people car windows asking for pesos, i couldn't believe it, you could barely see him inbetween all the cars and this is on the highway, what in the world...
Good Bye Philippines...What a Trip that we will never forget....

Wow! just getting around to reading about your trip and how fun to see the pictures along with it. Now I can picture a little bit better about your amazing trip. So glad that you could be with your parents Susie! They'll be home before you know it. They are my hero's too.
The best part was that we got to have your 3 sweet energetic cute kids! While you were gone.
