Happy 6 month birthday Brigham

Brigham is so much fun and we feel so blessed to have him in our family! He is learning and growing so fast! He is rolling all over the place now and is pretty close to sitting up, he is now eating solids, and we think he likes them , he just isn't sure on how to eat them, he sticks his tongue out instead of opening his mouth, it is a little frusturating for all of us, but hopefully he will learn soon. He weighed in at 16 pounds 10 ounces which is 33%. and was 27 inches tall, 71%! Tall and skinny, same as his brother. WE are totally enjoying his happy, sweet spirit. He isn't sleeping the best at night. But hopefully pretty soon he will. He use to sleep through the night and then all the sudden has started waking up a few times at night. oh well! We just love him so much!

Happy Birthday Relief Society!!

We had our Relief Society Birthday party, and i think it was a success!! Our theme was "Chicken Soup for the Farmington Ranches Soul". Jodi Garlick in my ward had her brother make the posters for us, and they were incredible. Thanks jodi!! We served Chicken noodle soup, salad and homeade breadsticks (again thanks jodi). We decorated the tables by the month and everyone sat at their birthday month table. i was a little nervous about not having people show up, but it turned out that we had to set up another table. It was awesome. WE had planned on 42 and ended up with about 52!! For the program, we had some sisters in our ward tell a story on how relief society has blessed their lives, and we had a musical number. The spirit was strong and all in all it turned out to be a pretty good night! we also had aprons to give away as their birthday presents and we laid them on the tables as placemats and put the fork and spoon and napkin in them, it turned out really cute, thanks engor for the creative way!

Dad and Brigham's Sunday activity...

This is Travis's favorite thing to do on Sundays. Take naps with Brigham, he use to love to do it with Parley, but Parley quickly grew out of that. And i am afraid Brigham is growing out of it too, but Brig will just sit there with him for a little while, so that Travis can get his little fix. Its the cutest thing. Pretty soon we will all get to take sunday naps because our new church building is almost done so we get to start going at 9:00 am, yea!!

Choo Choo Trains.....

Parley is really into trains right now, especially Thomas trains, he is learning the names of all the engines and I even catch him singing songs about the trains. His latest thing is that he takes all of his trains and lines them up, the other day after lining them up i saw him sitting by his trains on the kitchen floor and he was reading his train book to them and trying to show them the pictures. It was the cutest thing, i had to take a picture. He even prays for his trains and says good night to them every night, and will sometimes even lay them down so that they can sleep too. What a sweet little boy!
