Parley and Brigham's photo shoot...

i know, i am sorry, all i ever post are pictures of my boys, but if it weren't for them than i probably wouldn't even have a blog. so here are some more pics of them. We had their pictures taken a few weeks ago by a girl in our ward, who did a wonderful job, thanks elisha! i was a little nervous that Parley wouldn't cooperate because it is near impossible for me to get a picture of him. but he actually did a good job well actually it was probably the phographer who did a good job.

Snowy days.....

i love the first snow of the year, especially when it is a good one like the one we got 2 saturdays ago, that was awesome. Anyways just wanted to post some pics of parley's first time playing in the snow. He loved it but couldn't seem to keep his mittens on and whenever he fell over he could never get back up because he couldnt find the ground to help himself up, it was funny.

Brigham's 3 months old today!!

Wow how the time flies, actually sometimes it goes by pretty slow especially on those days when i wonder what i got done, between feeding brigham every 3 hours and picking up after parley all day long, it seems like nothing gets done. but that is the joys of being a mom!! i love it!! Brigham is 3 months old today, he is doing so good. eating good, sleeping good, is starting to laugh especially when he is tickled and is getting a little personality of his own. we are so blessed to have 2 happy healthy little boys.

tagged!

Heather Shupe tagged me a couple of weeks ago and i am finally getting around to it. Here it goes, 6 interesting/new things about me. i hope i am not too boring.

1. My favorite place in the world is Nauvoo. I can't wait to go back. Travis thinks i am crazy sometimes, that i would rather go there than other places for vacation.

2. I still love to play basketball, although i don't get to do it hardly ever. we played a little on thanksgiving and it got me in the mood to play more, but i havent.

3. i don't know how to do my makeup, ( in fact i kind of asked for this for christmas, so if anybody knows of anybody please let travis know.) i want someone to teach me how to wear it, what colors i should wear and etc. etc.

4. i have peed the bed since we've been married. Embarassing!!

5. i love popscicles, even in the winter.

6. i love being pregnant, all except for the last month.

i know i am kind of boring but oh well.

Baby Brigham and Parley

I just wanted to tell everyone how much i love my little boys. They are so much fun, i can't imagine life without them. Little Brigham is such a good baby. He is so mello and easy going, ( i don't think he has a choice with his Big Brother around). He is starting to sleep really good at night. He is smiling all the time even when Parley is on top of him, he loves his big brother. Anyways kind of a random blog but just had to tell you all how much i love these boys.

Gratitude...

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I love this time of year, i love being with all of my family and with the shupes, what a blessing it is to live so close to family. This time of year always makes me realize how blessed we really are. I have so much to be thankful for. One of my favorite talks of President Hinckley's is when he introduced the 6 be's, and i love that he put "Be Grateful" as number one, i think that that shows the importance of it. He also said in that talk "There are two little words in the english language that perhaps mean more than all the others, they are "Thank You". He also said, "the habit of saying Thank you is the mark of an educated man or worman. I love that, i am so grateful to wonderful parents who always taught me the importance of this same thing, I just hope that i can instill it in my own family, because i believe it is so important. I am especially grateful that my boys have good examples all around them of this. I don't know the words exactly but Joseph Smith also said once that, "one of the greatest sins that us as latter day saints can be guilty of is that of ingratitude." I hope that i can always show my gratitude and not just at this time of year but always. Thank you to all of my friends and family for the many services you have given us and for the examples you are to us. i love you all and hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

And then we can all start trimming the tree!! YEA!!

Random Picture update...

my three boys in their matching ties. These three are the joy of my life, i am outnumbered, but i love them to death!!

Travis doesn't let parley's hair get too long, so everytime he cuts his we cut parleys too.

My new double stroller, i love it! and the weather has been so nice that we still get to take walks. Parley loves to go and feed the horses down the street. Thanks babe for the stroller.

Parley loves spaghetti!! i have to strip him down though, because it gets all over. I saw him one time scooping spaghetti off of his diaper and i had to take a picture.

Brigham had his 2 month birthday, and went to the Doctor, he is doing great, he weighs 12 pounds and is 24 inches long, he is tall! I thought i could see some dimples the other day and the doctor confirmed that, he got his moms dimples! He is getting so strong, has already rolled over a few times and smiles all the time. we sure love him but he is getting big too fast.

HALLOWEEN!

We had a wonderful halloween this year. We had an Anderson family party, where Grandpa Anderson takes us on a treasure hunt in the forest and the kids all have glow sticks, they love it. And we had a Shupe Halloween party where we played fun games, ate good food, and made spider cookies. Parley dressed up as a fireman this year and little Brigham was his dalmation. they looked darling. Parley loved trick or treating, he would go up to the houses and say "candy" and then try to say thank you, that isn't very understandable yet. He thought it was great that people would just give him candy. we also went and saw both sets of grandparents, macie and Granny salmon on halloween night, where she had a special treat for all the grandkids. She is amazing and feel so blessed to have her in our lives. We love all of our family. We love the Holidays especially me, i told travis last night that now i can start listening to Christmas music, he thinks i am a little crazy so i will give it a few more days. Happy Halloween to all!

Why we haven't been blogging...

Oh the sweet face of innocence!

Well, about 2 weeks ago, Parley, our 19 month old decided he wanted to figure out how the laptop worked, so, I was in our room feeding Brigham and came out to find this. I was devastated, and thought that we would have to replace the whole thing but luckily it just needed the keyboard replaced, so after a phone call to dell and 45 dollars later, i had a new keyboard on the way and Travis was able to fix it all up last night, so i am back in blogging business! I thought any other toddler would have probably pounded the keys but not ours, he has a very curious mind and loves to find out how things work, he is too smart for his own good. i love you parley!!

My 3 boys!!

I love my 3 boys! they are the joy of my life. I don't know what i would do without them.
Brigham-1 month loves to eat every 3 hours, sleep and poop inbetween that.
Parley- 18 months, loves outside, loves his family, loves life.
Travis- Takes care of all of us, makes sure every need is met. i love you babe!

Lake Powell

We went to Lake Powell the last weekend in september. It was actually very relaxing, mostly because Parley stayed home with Gma and Gpa Anderson (mom and dad save the day again).

We went with the shupe's and stayed on Jack's Shack ( an awesome houseboat on waweap). It was fun just to spend time with family, especially Travis (since he is busy at work). We ate good, watched movies, played games and went out on the lake when it wasn't windy. it wasn't the best weather but it was still a lot of fun. i did get to ski, that was awesome because i hadn't done it for a few years. Travis surfed, skiied and tried barefooting, he has the bruises to prove it. But all in all we had a lot of fun.

Double Stroller

So, we are in the market for a new double stroller, so that i feel like i can possibly leave my house again. I have been shopping around and am wondering if anybody knows of some good deals. And i am also wondering what people prefer, do you like the kind that is side by side or front and back. Let me know so i don't make a big mistake getting one or the other. Thanks guys. I will blog some pics later.

Baby Brigham

My sister Emily took some pictures of Brig for us, and i had to share some of them. He has been a joy, even though he isn't sleeping so good at night. he is a major grunter and seems to do that all night long. He may have to go in his own room soon. and then maybe Travis will come back into our room, i miss ya babe! (:

Brigham had his 2 week doctors appt. yesterday, he has gained 2 pounds since we left the hospital so he is doing good and is healthy! What more could i ask for!! Parley also had a doctors appointment at the same time, they were both at 8:30 am, I never would have made it there without my mom, she is the best, she showed up to my house at 7:30 am and helped me get out of there, then she was a huge lifesaver at the Doctors. Parley wasn't about to sit and wait for brigham to be checked so she was chasing him around, she changed 3 stinky diapers within 2 hours, bless your heart mom. I could never do it without you!! Two kids is awesome but is a huge adjustment. they are both growing so big. Parley and Brig were both 85 percentile on their heighth, we're not quite sure where they got those tall genes from. Parley loves his little brother and wants to kiss him every chance he gets. He just turned 18 months and gets to start nursery. YEA!!
