The P-man's parties...

Parley had his first friend party and my first one ever since he is my oldest. It was a blast but wow, it wore me out, thankfully Parley's Aunt Heather and Grandma came and were a huge help! Parley wanted a Super Hero Party, so that's what we did! My mother-in-law helped me make all the little boys superhero capes and we had a superhero cake and I think Parley was a pretty happy boy! Then later that night we had all the Shupe's over for a continuation of the Super Hero party, It was a lot of fun, I think I have a little of my dad in me because I love to have a party! Thanks to all of Parley's friends and family that made it such a special day for him.

Happy Birthday to the P-Man...

I can't believe it has been 4 years since I became a Mom and this sweet, little, spitfire spirit joined our family! I have loved everyday since and feel so blessed to have Parley in our lives. Happy birthday buddy!

From this:

To This:

Parley at 4:
Loves: his family, FHE, friends and cousins (my social little butterfly), Wii and pbs computer games, school, primary, singing primary songs, treats, pizza, quesadillas, hot dogs....
He is such a good little helper with Ella (most of the time), and will help me do little chores around the house, He says the best little prayers and always remembers to bless the prophet and his gma and gpa on a mission, he loves to be playing with a friend or a cousin and wants to do that all the time, We love this little guy! Happy birthday bud!
Here is Parley's Birthday email he received from my mom and dad, I just cried like a baby as I read it and I want Parley to always remember when his grandma and Grandpa were missionaries. (besides my dad would give anything to be here, Him and Parley have a special little bond)
Dear Parley,
Happy Birthday Parley!! Grandpa and I can not believe you are 4 years old. You are a pretty big boy now. Are you going to have a party? Can Grandpa and Grandma come to your party? Are you over your cough? We were wondering if you can remember crawling in bed with your buddy, Grandpa? We have a picture of you cuddled up to Grandpa in his bed. You are in your jammies, and you are so adorable. That made Grandpa so happy. Do you remember when Grandma would take you for walks in the wagon, to feed the horse apples, or look at the chickens, and then go swing on the swings? Do you remember the countless books we read together, especially GOING ON A BEAR HUNT? Do you remember all the hugs and kisses, you got from Grandpa and Grandma. Do you remember the day we drove out of our drive way, You were standing on the lawn trying to be sad, but didn't know why, waving good- by with all your might. That is a picture we have in our mind of you! Do you remember the Easter Egg hunt in our yard, and jumping on the trampoline forever? Do you remember walking through our Farmington house when it was empty, with your mom, wondering where Grandpa and Grandma were?
Do you remember that Grandpa and Grandma and a whole big family prayed you here, with all the faith they had? Now you are 4 and growing up, and not a baby any more, but a big brother, and a good little boy! We hope you can remember some of these sweet experiences that we had with you! You have brought so much happiness in our lives, and we feel honored to be your Grandparents! We love you so very much Parley, and we pray for you every day. Be a good boy, always do what is right, and obey your parents and treat Brigham and Ella with love and kindness. Then you can go on a mission like Grandpa and Grandma, when you have grown a foot or two.
Tell your mom and dad to give you a hug and kiss from us. Have a happy Birthday!
All our love,
Grandpa and Grandma Anderson in the Philippines!
