Davis County Fair...

We went to the fair a couple of weeks ago, and although it was sooo HOT we had a lot of fun! Parley loved the animals. He even liked a huge black cow, that would have scared me to death, but he was right up next to it petting it! Later he saw the cow taking a leak, and i have been hearing about it ever since, about how Gross it was! Brigham was a good sport about going along for the ride!

After a long hard day at the fair, Rough life?

6 Years....

Today Travis and I are celebrating our 6th anniversary! I can't believe it has been that long since i married my best friend. We have had so many awesome experiences together, from building a house, too living across the pacific ocean, too trying forever to have kids and then ,too suddenly having 2 healthy little boys, and many other things in between! We have been so blessed. I can't wait to see what is in store for us in the future. The best part about it for me is that i get to go every step of the way with Travis, i couldn't ask for a better companion! He is so patient and loving with me and with the boys. He would do anything for me. he has been and always will be the best thing that ever happened to me. i love you babe. happy anniversary! Here's to many more years to come!!

Since we were married before the digital days, i don't have any wedding pics on my computer so you just get a casual one of us, we don't have very many opportunities to take a picture together, so this is as good as it gets.

Olympics!

I haven't posted for awhile because we haven't been doing much but we are totally enjoying watching the olympics. Michael Phelps is amazing. He has been so fun to watch, i get so nervous for him before he swims because he has so much pressure on him, but it is so fun to watch history in the making! Good luck to him in his next couple of races, can you imagine how exhausted he is. He is a machine! We have totally enjoyed watching him and all the other sports. Go USA!!

The Ranch House....

On the 24th we made our way to fairview to the Salmon's Ranch house. A couple of Trav's aunts were there with their kids and of course Granny. We had a lot of fun. Parley loved the older kids, and i pretty much didn't see him all weekend unless he was hungry or thirsty or had a dirty diaper. Brigham loved it too, although the first night he didn't sleep, oh well, the joys of motherhood. The guys were able to go golfing in Palisades, and we just relaxed at the cabin. We went swimming one day at the fairview pool and Parley loved this slide, totally surprised me. We had a great time, thanks shupes for letting us come along, especially at last minute.

Lagoon!!

If you live in Farmington, i think you have to make at least 1 trip to Lagoon, especially if you have kids. So Trav and i took the boys on the night of the 23rd of july, i think it was a good time, because the rest of davis county was at the HOT parade in bountiful. Anyways it turned out to be a great night. Since we are Farmington residents, we get a walk in pass for free, then we bought 20$ worth of ride tickets for Parley, The first stop was of course the famous boats, Parley loved it, we even snuck Brigham on too, and he loved it just as much, we also went on the planes, the helicopter, all 4 of us went on Puff, the swings, the little whales that have been there forever, there was no line for that one so Parley rode it 4 times in a row and never had to get off, Travis even took Parley on the Log flume, we hit the boats one more time, then the merry go round, it was a great night. And come to find out they don't ever take your tickets, so we felt it was honest because we had purchased them but i am sure we rode more rides than we payed for. i even think we might go again, it was a lot of fun
this was after the log ride, parley wasn't too sure about that one.

I love this picture, look at those 2 heads and they both have hands on the wheel.
