We've added these to our Laundry....

That's right, Parley is officially POTTY TRAINED!! YEA YEA YEA!! And yesterday when i was folding laundry, I looked at all his little underwears and I just can't believe how big he is getting, besides little boy underwears are about the cutest things. I honestly didn't think this would ever happen. My goal was to have him potty trained by the time the baby arrived so that i wouldn't have 3 in diapers. Well after attempting to potty train him about 4 months ago, i thought there was no way. it was not a good experience for me or him. But a couple of weeks ago Trav and I decided to try again and he did great! He had a hard time with going poop for awhile but now he has got it down and I am so proud of him! We put diapers on him at night for a few days, then one night he told me he didn't want to wear a diaper so we tried it and he had an accident the first night but hasn't since! I can't tell you how happy and relieved i feel!It is amazing how fast these little kids can learn and grow! I just love Parley and am so proud of him, but it is hard for me to see him growing up right before my eyes!

Don't you love those short stalky legs!!

Happy Birthday Dad...

Today is my Dad's bday! As you know we don't get to spend this bday with dad because he is clear across the country serving our heavenly father. Dad, i just wanted you to know that you were in all of our thoughts today, especially at Miley's blessing, we sure missed having you and mom there, but could feel of your spirits. We hope you have a wonderful day and that you will have a minute to relax in your busy schedule and maybe even get a game of golf in. One thing that i have always loved about my dad is that he is a party animal. He is always the life of the party and he loves to throw parties. He is always very welcoming and always makes you feel comfortable. He is still throwing parties in the philippines as mission president, for example, Instead of having a missionary christmas zone conference, they turned it into a party where the spirit was still felt and the missionaries were still taught but everybody had fun doing it. That is just like my dad and i have always loved him for that! I love you dad, hope your day is great!

Saturday is a Special Day...

So last saturday night we were doing our nightly routine of getting ready for the sabbath the next day, with church at 9:00 we always tried to do everything the night before. I had fed the boys and had put them in the tub, i was ironing white shirts for the boys when i hear Parley say, "Mom poop!" so i run back to the bathroom and sure enough brigham has pooped in the tub, So i put them both in my tub so they can finish their bath, i am now cleaning the poop out when i hear a big thud and crying, so i run in there and brigham has pooped again in the tub, parley in his attempt to get out of the poop slipped and cut his lip. So i take both boys out of the tub, set them in my shower to hose them off and brigham poops a little bit more in the shower. By this time i am like, ok we really need to get a diaper on him, but i had to tend to Parley with the bleeding lip. I am trying to explain to Parley that he shouldn't try climbing out of mom's tub because it is to big and that is why he fell, Travis comes in and says, umm Parley if there is poop in the tub, then you do everything you can to get out of there ( i had to agree with travis on that one). Meanwhile Brigham is running around in his bday suit and you guessed it, pooped on the carpet. i finally get them both cleaned off and in pajamas. then had to clean out every tub and shower and some carpet spots. Gross, i know! In the midst of all this Travis was trying to prepare for his talk the next morning in sacrament meeting, which he did a wonderful job on! I got the boys to bed, finally got back to my ironing and in bed myself! Wow what an eventful night that i hadn't planned on!! But definitley a night i don't want to forget! I can now laugh about it!
