Summer happenings...

Farmington festival days...
all of us with our girls...so glad mabel has so many fun cousins her age.
Mabel rolled over for the first time at this parade...

Long summer days make for a nap now and then even if it is in the baby bouncer...
24th of july bountiful parade and the 2000 strippling warriors, pretty cool to see this!

Mabel loving her bath... sorry most of these pics are from my phone...
I made some new pillows for my couch actually i helped my mom-in-law make them :)
We fit piggy's on the top of ella's hair after her dramatic haircut a few weeks ago...
We have had netflix on our tv for a few weeks and Brigham is obsessed with power rangers (remember them) well he was thrilled to find a mask at target and they even had a few power ranger toys. if you were wondering what to get brig for his bday, he would love any of this :)
and this was Ella's outfit the other day, isn't she a beauty! love this girl...

I made a new decoration for the front door...ya gotta love pinterest!
my cute oldest nephew is getting married in a couple of weeks so we had a shower for him and his sweet bride to be. it was such a fun night and look at all the yummy cakes!

aren't they so cute! we are excited to have Hannah in the family!
and the biggest accomlishment of the summer, Ella finally likes James!!

24th of july we had a little firework show at our house, it was a little dangerous but noone got hurt thankfully! except maybe our neighbors house oops!
these 2 couldn't be more different

It has been a great summer so far, one month left and we have a couple more trips to go on before school starts which by the way, we are ready for around here! it has been a long summer!

Ella's first haircut...

So my sweet little, curly haired Ella decided to cut her own hair. I knew that one day this would happen with one of my kids but i was not prepared for it! This first picture was taken the day that it happened, look at all those beautiful curls and of course that cute bum!
I had to leave that night for a minute and when I came home to get ready for my softball game, I saw sweet Ella up stairs holding a lock of hair and some scissors. I checked the damage and started crying, got dressed for my softball game and left pretty upset!!
I came home and saw sweet Ella sleeping and checked out the damage a little more. and took some pics!

 and cried a little more...
the next day.....full on mullett!! I text this picture to my hair girl and she said to bring her in and we could see what we could do.....
and the result, much better but oh how i miss those "long curls" and being able to do pony tails. Can't wait till it all grows back! hopefully she learned her lesson, in her prayers for awhile she prayed that she wouldn't ever cut her hair again. I love this little spitfire!!
