The Countdown...

My Parents are down to 8 days left of their 3 year mission to the Phlippines. I can't even begin to tell you how excited we are at our house, about a month ago Parley was begging me to make a chain until Gma and Gpa come home, so one sunday afternoon about 40 days ago, we made one, he knew exactly how he wanted it and told me what to do and how to do it. We hung it in their room and the other day I looked at it and can't believe that it is so short and they will be home in one week from tomorrow! My kids have loved taking a chain off everyday, and it has helped them realize what is really going on, Brig for sure doesn't remember them when they were here, he was only 9 months old when they left and Parley was Ella's age, just over 2, so they have a lot of catching up to do and we can't wait to do it! Love you Mom and Dad, see you in a week!! AAAAHhhhhhhh.....

Father's day...

I am blessed enough to have some of the BEST father's in my midst...
1. Trav: is such a great Dad, is happiest when he is with his family, doesn't ever care if there is anybody else around him but them. My boys love wrestling with their dad and they love to work with him mostly because they always go out for slurpees after. Ella's favorite time of day is when daddy comes home from work, actually I think it is all of our favorite time of day!! He is always concerned about providing for his family and making sure we are comfortable, we are his first and foremost and he has never done anything to make me doubt that! Thank you Trav for working so hard for us but also for always making time for fun, we love you to pieces...
2. My own dad, who I must say will be home from his 3 year LDS mission in 8 days!!! yahoo, I can't even tell you how excited we all are! we never thought this day would come and it's here!! He is an amazing dad and grandpa, my kids adore him even though the only relationship they have right now is through skype, he has always been so supportive of me and always taught through example. Thanks dad for all you do and have done. Love you to the phillippines and back but only for one more week :)!
3. Trav's dad also is so amazing and I am so grateful for the endless service he gives in my families behalf! I have always admired that about him, he will do anything for anybody! He has already helped Travis out so much on our new house! He is also quite the gentleman, always opening doors and looking out for his wife and for all of his sons wifes and his daughters. Love you Grant, Happy Fathers day!
I barely caught parley for this picture before all of his church clothes were off, he has most of them off before we even walk in the door from church, in this one his shirt is totally unbuttoned except the top button and i made him put his tie back on, the kid is crazy...

Hope you all had a great Father's day!

First boat trip of 2011...

Kyle and Heather were taking the boat to the lake and they were nice enough to invite us. So we tagged along even without Trav who was working on the house, love him!! We had a great time at the lake, my kids love going on the boat, thanks for inviting us, we hope there are many more trips this summer but they may all be without Trav :(

These 2 were singing their little hearts out to life is a Highway....
I love Charlie's face in this one, so cute...

Ella even went for a ride...

Ella decided she wanted to wake board with Kyle like charlie did but then when she was in the cold water she wasn't so sure, but she did it, just wasn't too happy about it...

Brig's job was to hold the flag, he wanted nothing to do with the water...
But then jessie and Gma talked him into getting in the tube with them...and he liked it...

it was beautiful up at the lake, all the mountains still had snow on them...
 crazy driver...

So fun, hope we do it more...
