another mobile one....

Brigham is pretty much crawling these days. He hasn't totally got it down yet but he can definitely get around. i have a video to post but haven't figured out how to do it yet. I will try to get it up soon. He is almost 8 months old, i can't believe how fast the time goes by.He is such a fun, pleasant little boy to have around. WE love you Brigham!!

block...house...

I hear these 2 words about 100 times a day if not more, Parley carries his box of blocks around the house and says "mom, block house" and looks at me with those big blue eyes. The interpretation is that he wants me to build a house with his blocks, it has been his favorite thing to do lately and i build many houses a day but sometimes i can't stop what i am doing and build a house so until i do, i hear, block house!!

Private....

I too am going private. I wish i didn't have to, but i feel like it is safer for me and my family. I would love to keep in touch with all of you, so please give me your address and i will send you an invite. thanks!

Brothers...

These 2 are looking more and more alike everyday. They already get along so well. Brig is always laughing at Parley, and Parley loves it. I am so glad they are already the best of friends.

Farmington Pond...

A couple of weeks ago we took Parley and Brigham to the Farmington pond. Parley was in absolute Heaven. He didn't want to leave. He loved finding rocks, throwing them in the water and feeding the ducks. And Brig just loved watching him.

Grandpa Salmon.....

Last night for family night we went up to Grandpa Salmons grave in the cemetary up by the bountiful temple. They had just laid his grave stone so gma wanted all of us there to see it. Most of the Salmon family were all there. The grave stone looks beautiful. It was fun to see everybody and reminisce a little bit about Grandpa, we all miss him so much, and its weird to have family get togethers without him there. Sweet Granny is so amazing. When Grandpa first found out he had cancer, someone gave him a button that said "Cancer Sucks", and he wore it proudly every day! So one of trav's cousins had bracelets made up for the whole family that say, "Cancer Sucks" and " We love you Grandpa", just a little way to show our love to Gpa Salmon. We love and miss you!!

St. George....

We were able to go to St. George for almost a whole week, it was so nice. Thanks to mom and dad for a wonderful place to stay. We just love to go to the condo and we have so many wonderful memories there.
All of the Shupe's were able to come, even Amy came down from SUU with a friend and spent a couple of days. The guys golfed almost every day, the girls shopped a little bit, and just enjoyed playing with the kids in the swimming pools and at the park. what a nice break it was to get away for alittle while.
We enjoyed watching conference down there too and loved every minute of it. Especially the Solemn Assembly, what an amazing church we have. What a blessing it was to be able to stand and sustain our leaders especially Pres. Monson. The church is true!

Hanging out at the Beautiful red cliffs, it was so nice to go outside and not freeze.

This is the Whole Shupe family, it was so fun tobe all together, we are growing!!

More Trains....

Parley is still loving his trains. And this is a nightly thing, i just love it and had to take a picture. He lines them all up on the couch and gets pretty upset if they get out of line. i love this kid

Nap time.....

Ever since Parley has been in his big bed, naps have been hit and miss! I was afraid of this when we did it but i knew Brigham needed to be in the crib. Parley has been doing great at nights in his big bed, but unless he is exhausted, naps are few and far between. He only gets his binky during his naps and bed times, so at least he will sit in his bed for a minute and get his binky fix but then he is ready to go again. Yesterday he shut me out of his bedroom and when i went in to check on him he told me to go home, so i knew he was trying to sneak his binkies (which i hide under his pillows), he had been pretty quiet for awhile so i went in to check on him again and all the pillows were off the bed and he was sound asleep with his binkies. A couple of weeks ago, he had fought me on his nap so he didn't end up gettin one, later that afternoon i went and had a pedicure while travis was home with the boys, and while Travis was taking a shower, Parley fell asleep on the floor of the bathroom, Poor kid, if only he would take his naps again, because i think both of us are needing them!!
