Happy 3rd Birthday Parley!!

I can't believe that Parley is 3!! Somedays i don't remember life before kids, on those days it seems that he should be older, but on other days i can't believe how fast the time has gone! We love you Parley!
We had a little cars bday party for parley with the shupes. He got a little trampoline that we wish we could enjoy!! Where is spring?
Parley is and always has been our little spitfire! He gets his mind set on something and won't let go of it until it happens, He has such a fun little personality! He loves any cars from the disney movie Cars, so that is the kind of bday he chose to have. He loves his little sister Ella and has been pretty helpful with getting me diapers and wipes, and he wants to kiss her constantly! The other day he was even sharing a sucker with her (i about died) but she was totally enjoying it! He loves brigham too, he has a hard time sharing his toys with him but at times they can play so cute together. He loves to play with play dough and LOVES to do puzzles and he is actually really good at them, he even did a 100 piecer the other day with only a little help from dad! He had his first soccer game last week (i will post more on that later). I am so grateful for our little Parley! Happy birthday buddy!

he went to church that morning with his dad and i had all his presents out when he got home, he couldn't wait to open them!

My friend took some pictures of Parley for me and I love how they turned out, i love that she got some pics of him with his favorite toys so that i can always remember this stage in his life.

We've added these to our Laundry....

That's right, Parley is officially POTTY TRAINED!! YEA YEA YEA!! And yesterday when i was folding laundry, I looked at all his little underwears and I just can't believe how big he is getting, besides little boy underwears are about the cutest things. I honestly didn't think this would ever happen. My goal was to have him potty trained by the time the baby arrived so that i wouldn't have 3 in diapers. Well after attempting to potty train him about 4 months ago, i thought there was no way. it was not a good experience for me or him. But a couple of weeks ago Trav and I decided to try again and he did great! He had a hard time with going poop for awhile but now he has got it down and I am so proud of him! We put diapers on him at night for a few days, then one night he told me he didn't want to wear a diaper so we tried it and he had an accident the first night but hasn't since! I can't tell you how happy and relieved i feel!It is amazing how fast these little kids can learn and grow! I just love Parley and am so proud of him, but it is hard for me to see him growing up right before my eyes!

Don't you love those short stalky legs!!

Happy Birthday Dad...

Today is my Dad's bday! As you know we don't get to spend this bday with dad because he is clear across the country serving our heavenly father. Dad, i just wanted you to know that you were in all of our thoughts today, especially at Miley's blessing, we sure missed having you and mom there, but could feel of your spirits. We hope you have a wonderful day and that you will have a minute to relax in your busy schedule and maybe even get a game of golf in. One thing that i have always loved about my dad is that he is a party animal. He is always the life of the party and he loves to throw parties. He is always very welcoming and always makes you feel comfortable. He is still throwing parties in the philippines as mission president, for example, Instead of having a missionary christmas zone conference, they turned it into a party where the spirit was still felt and the missionaries were still taught but everybody had fun doing it. That is just like my dad and i have always loved him for that! I love you dad, hope your day is great!
