snow...

I feel like I haven't posted forever and so I thought I better get these posted before christmas or else I will never post them. When we had that awesome snow fall a couple of weeks ago Parley and Brigham bundled up and headed out with a few kids from the neighborhood, They loved it, Parley stayed out for 2 hours or so, I kept going out to check on him and make sure he wasn't frozen because it was so cold, but he did great and loved every minute of it. Brigham loved it too, he only lasted about an hour but i thought that was pretty good too. He really reminded me of the kid on Christmas story that can't ever move when he gets his coat on, Brigham could barely walk and if he fell down someone had to pick him back up. I think it took him about 20 minutes to cross the street. He had a blast though! I hope we get another good snowfall before christmas to make everything all white and clean again.

This was brig trying to get across the street to where the other kids were, it took him forever.

another relief society night...

Our big Relief society activity was last week. I always really look forward to these but i am always sooooo glad when they are done!! This one turned out great, we had a christmas progressive dinner, we all started together at an appetizer house, we went in groups to a salad house and a dinner house, then we all met again at the dessert house and had a little christmas program, it was such a fun night! I always feel so much closer to the sisters in my ward after these activities. My wonderful committee did an excellent job and all the people that hosted did an awesome job too!! I wish I would have taken more pictures but i was too worried about getting everyone where they needed to be and making sure each home had enough people at it!

A Wedding...

My beautiful niece Brooke was married yesterday, I still can't believe I am old enough to have a niece getting married, but i was only 6 when she was born, so i guess it is possible. I have watched little Brooke grow up and I am so amazed by so many things, She is so talented, beautiful, smart, friendly, she will be an amazing wife and mother! She found a great guy to marry too, welcome to the family CJ! They are a darling couple and I am so excited to watch them grow and learn together! It was such a beautiful day for a wedding, The sealing was awesome, I love attending sealings because I am always reminded of my own wedding day, and it brings back all those wonderful feelings. Since my mom and dad weren't here my sister Emily and I were able to sit by my sister Angie during the sealing, it was such an awesome experience for me, I loved looking in the crowd and seeing all of my siblings with their spouses, What a blessing that is to have all of us in the temple together. Brooke was a beautiful bride and the sealer had so many wonderful things to say about her and her family as he has known them for years, so it was a very personal sealing, it was awesome. The luncheon was at the Joseph Smith Building and it was so yummy and fun. The reception was great too, It was a fun day. I am so amazed by my sister, she did an amazing job with everything. I really want to be just like her someday. Love you ang! Thanks for letting us be apart of such a special day!!
