Anderson Family Christmas Party....

My family did things a little different this year, we usually draw names and give gifts to each other, that has been a very fun tradition but the last 2 years we have decided to mix things up. This year our whole family minus my brother in St. George (who we missed) all met at the Bishop's storehouse in kaysville, they let all of us including the 2 year olds be involved some how in serving. It was awesome, We put oranges and potatoes in bags than had to weigh them and box them back up, we also put nuts in 1 pound bags and boxed them up. We did that for 2 hours and it was so fun to serve together as a family, all the kids loved it even my little brigham and Ella, although, all Ella did was put the nuts in her mouth so we put her in a box and let her play in there. It was a great opportunity for our family to serve together. After we finished there we went over to a church and had a yummy dinner, talked about my brothers trip to the phillippines, did another service project by tying fleece blankets for Primary children's hospital and we all donated stuff animals, had an awesome program about the nativity, My sister in law made all of our families this amazing book about the family proclamation with pictures of all of us in it, it really is amazing something i will cherish my whole life!! We ended the night by celebrating Miley's 1st birthday! It was such a fun night to be together with all of my family and to be reminded of the true meaning of Christmas! Thanks for the fun night family, we love you all!! Mom and Dad, like always you were missed but again we really wouldn't want you anywhere else!! We talked about you a lot and about how our home growing up was a heavenly home and about how we feel so blessed that we are all so close as a family and that we are all trying to live a life that is pleasing to our heavenly father, and that we were taught the gospel in our home, what a blessing that has been to me!
Ella was such a big help!!

Miley joined Ella for a minute in the boxes.

The kids built a little fort around ella, it was hilarious!

Brigham was such a good helper with the nuts.

Looking at pictures from the brothers trip to the phillippines, they kind of talked trav out of wanting to go,but i will get him there.

All of the kids are so cute with Ella and she loves them all.

Lexi and Ella
all the kids writing to gma and gpa, it has been so fun to watch all of these kids since mom and dad have been gone, Elder cook taught our family at my parents setting apart that this experience would be such a testimony builder for these kids because we get to pray for them and do things like write little notes and by doing these things we are serving them while they serve the Lord! What a blessing no matter how much we miss them.

Dad and Ella playing.

The cute couple, getting married in less than 2 weeks, i can't believe i have a niece getting married but i really couldn't be happier for her, they are so cute!

What an amazing Christmas Party Sue. Ella is adorable. Those pictures of her are darling. Thanks for coming to see me at my parents. You're so sweet and such a dear friend. The gift for Jensen is darling and he wears the Christmas suit a lot. He looks super handsome in it. Thanks!!
